What inspired you to become a healthcare provider? I’ve always been drawn to the connection between nutrition and overall health. Early in my career, I saw firsthand how powerful food can be, not just for prevention, but as a meaningful part of treatment. That experience inspired me to pursue a path where I could help people feel better, regain control of their health, and improve their quality of life through personalized nutrition care.

What is your philosophy when it comes to patient care? My philosophy is rooted in meeting patients where they are and focusing on sustainable, realistic changes. I believe in a whole-person, functional approach, understanding not just symptoms, but the “why” behind them. Small, consistent steps often lead to the most meaningful and lasting results.

What do you wish more patients understood about their health? I wish more patients understood that their health is not defined by a single lab value or diagnosis. The body is complex and interconnected, and meaningful change takes time. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be impactful, and even small changes can significantly improve overall health.

What conditions or health goals are you most passionate about helping patients with? I’m especially passionate about helping patients develop a more intuitive and mindful relationship with food. I enjoy guiding individuals away from restrictive, all-or-nothing approaches and toward listening to their body’s internal cues. Whether the goal is improving overall health, supporting weight management, or healing their relationship with food, I focus on building sustainable habits rooted in awareness, balance, and self-trust.

How do you personalize care for each patient? I take time to understand each patient’s medical history, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. From there, we create a plan that feels manageable and realistic for their day-to-day life. I focus on building small, achievable goals that patients can build on over time, rather than overwhelming them with drastic changes.

What does a first visit with you typically look like? The first visit is very conversational. We’ll review your health history, current concerns, and goals, and I’ll ask questions to better understand your daily routine and nutrition habits. Together, we’ll identify a few key areas to focus on and develop a clear, approachable plan to get started.

What do you do outside of work to stay healthy and balanced? Outside of work, I like to stay active and keep things fun—hiking, getting a good workout in at F45, and playing pickleball with friends (mostly for the laughs). I also find cleaning and organizing oddly satisfying – yes, I will happily rearrange a pantry for fun.
